Perform As-Salat (Iqamat-as-Salat) from mid-day till the darkness of the night (i.e. the Zuhr, 'Asr, Maghrib, and 'Isha' prayers), and recite the Quran in the early dawn (i.e. the morning prayer). Verily, the recitation of the Quran in the early dawn is ever witnessed (attended by the angels in charge of mankind of the day and the night).

Beautiful Reminder

Unknown

We all make mistakes, but with each mistake, let's not forget to learn the lesson so that we don't repeat it again, ΐη sha اللَّهُ.

If the mistake was due to hurting someone, then let's not forget to apologize.
If the mistake was due to sin, then let's not forget to come back to  اللَّهُ Subhana Ta'ala  , repent to Him & do our very best to follow the teachings of Islam.

Allah, the Exalted says:
‘O ‘My servants who have transgressed against their souls!  Despair not of the Mercy of Allah: For Allah forgives all sins. Truly, He is Oft Forgiving, Most Merciful’”

"And turn in repentance and in obedience with true Faith to your Lord and submit to Him, before the torment comes on you, then you will not be helped."

"And follow the best of that which is revealed to you from your Lord, before the torment comes on you suddenly while you perceive not!"
[The Qur'an 39:53-55]

Muslim Wealth

Unknown

Sayyiduna Thawbaan (Radhiyallahu Anhu) reported: When the verses about gold and silver were revealed, people asked, “What kind of wealth should we acquire?” Sayyiduna Umar (Radhiyallahu Anhu) said, “I will find out for you.” He rode on his camel until he caught up with Nabi Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam while I followed him. Sayyiduna Umar (Radhiyallahu Anhu) asked, “O Messenger of Allah, what kind of wealth should we acquire?”

Rasulullah Sallallahu Alayhi wa Sallam replied, “Acquire a grateful heart, a tongue engaged in Zikr (remembering Allah), and a believing wife to help you in the matters of the Hereafter.” (Sunan Ibn Majah)

First Juma'a in the month of safar

Unknown

Alhamdulilah is first Juma'a in the month of Safar, May ALLAH (SWT) shower is blessings and may HE grant us HIS Mercy in this New Month #Happyjuma 'a #Happnewmonth

Importance of Holy Month Safar: When we mention the names of some of the prominent months of the Islamic Calendar then we never forget to talk about the importance of Safar.
This is the second month of the Islamic Calendar that has an enormous eminence in the Islamic history. Well when we look at the meanings of the Safar besides considering it as the Islamic month then normally three meanings are concluded.

One is to whistle second would be the yellow color and third is the free space or empty place.
This month has been taken from the second meaning and that is yellow color of humans.
Many people have the wrong misconception that this month was initiated in the Islamic Calendar because the appearance of huge sum of the
difficulties and troubles in the religion but this fact is no where closer to the reality.
By keeping in view this fact we would like to mention Hadith that has been stated by the Hazrat Jaabir:”I have heard the Prophet saying, the descending of illness and evil superstition befalling in the month of Safar is untrue.” There were wide spread special and memorable moments that took place during the month of the Safar. Some of the main events and proceedings in this month are as follows:
During this month the Battlefield of Abwa on the 12 th Safar in the year 2 A.H.
In the same month the Battle of Khaibar was also undertaken in the year 7 A.H.
One of the greatest things about this month has been the beginning of a relationship between Hazrat Ali and Hazrat Fatima who was the daughter of Hazrat Muhammad. They got married in Safar in the year 2 A.H.
In the year of 4 A.H. Hazrat Khubaib Ibn Adey was killed in Makkah.

In the same year and in the same month of Safar Hazrat Zaid Ibn Daithina was killed in
Makkah.
This month hold an extreme significance in the Islamic history because many happy and sad moments are attached with this month. On the whole after this detail discussion we are sure that all such people who are not fully aware from the main features of the month of Safar they would certainly gain enormous knowledge about this month. Make sure that this month also demands
for the prayers and gaining the blessings of the
God.

“SAFAR” is the second month in the Islami Calender. It is one of “Al-Ashhur-al-hurum” the four sanctified months in which the battle was prohibited in the days of Holy Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam).
However, no specific mode of worship or other special rules are set by Shari’ah to observe in this month.
Some people believe that this month is an unlucky month, therefore, they avoid to hold marriage ceremonies or any happy gatherings in this month. This belief is totally base less and it is part of the superstitions rampant in the ignorant of arabia before the advent of Islam. The Holy Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) eradicated all such superstitious beliefs. Specially in the case of the month of safar, He ( Sallallaahu Alaihi Wasallam) expressly said, (To Hold) the month of safar ( as unlucky) is nothing.
Therefore, Muslims should not give ear to such superstitions. There is no problem in holding Marriages in this month.

Security Against Shaytan

Unknown

Nabi (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam) once enquired from the Sahabah (radiallahu’anhum),

‘Should I not inform you of such acts which would expiate your sins and elevate your ranks (in Jannah)?’

‘Yes, of course, O Rasulullah’ was the enthusiastic reply from the Sahabah. Nabi (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam) then stated,

‘This is achieved by performing a perfect wudu despite facing unfavorable conditions (such as inclement weather, cold water, sickness etc.), taking many steps to the musjid and anticipating the next salah after having performed one.’

(This reward will be received irrespective of one being in the business place or involved in any other activity between the two salahs).

Nabi (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam) then mentioned,

‘These acts constitute your security! These acts constitute your security!’

[Sahih Muslim #251]
(i.e. in addition to being so meritorious as well).
This is a divine formula from our Nabi (sallallahu’alaihi wasallam) to maintain and improve our spiritual condition after Ramadan. By firmly practicing on this hadith, we will be perpetually secure against the wicked schemes of Shaytan, insha Allah.

May Allah Ta’ala protect us all. Ameen.

5 Negative Character Traits (from Surah Hujurat)

Unknown

By Raiiq Ridwan
The Prophet Muhammad sallallahu alayhi wasallam said, “I have been sent only to perfect good character.” [Narrated by Ahmad] It shows the importance of character in Islam when the Prophetsallallahu alayhi wasallam puts that much emphasis on building character. Unfortunately, in muslim circles today character is not seen as a very important hallmark of faith.
Character is so important in fact that Allah has mentioned about it all over the Quran. Surah Hujurat is one of the Surahs whose central theme is about the character traits of the believer and their behaviour towards others. This article will list five negative character traits that Allah has asked the believers to stay away from in Surah Hujurat.
  1. Narrating whatever one hears

“O you who have believed, if there comes to you a disobedient one with information, investigate, lest you harm a people out of ignorance and become, over what you have done, regretful” [Quran 49:6]
Today in the age of information, it is very easy to pass on information to someone else without verifying. A lot of information passed on really is false. Things can get even worse when information is passed around about other people, causing rifts in families and a lot of pain and hurt. The Prophet said, “It is enough lying for a man to speak of everything that he hears.” [Narrated by Muslim] Narrating whatever we hear is considered lying, and Allah has cursed the liars over 10 times in the Quran. It is something we definitely need to stay away from
  2. Mockery

“O you who have believed, let not a group of people mock [other] people; perhaps they may be better than them; nor let women mock [other] women; perhaps they may be better than them. And do not insult one another and do not call each other by [offensive] nicknames. Wretched is the name of shamelessness after [one’s] faith. And whoever does not repent – then it is those who are the wrongdoers.” [Quran 49:11]
Mockery has become such a part of life these days! Allah emphatically prohibits it. We are asked to remember that perhaps those whom we mock might actually be better than us. Allah also tells us in this verse about how the name of shamelessness is wretched. This is a reminder to use good language as well. More often than not, mockery involves use of foul language.
  3. Suspicion

“O you who have believed, avoid much [negative] suspicion. Indeed, some suspicion is sin.” [Quran 49:12]
Many a times we are full of suspicion. Allah says that some types of suspicion is sinful. Obviously, if someone is hearing something or seeing something from someone who is known for deception, then it is ok to be suspicious. But many a times we are suspicious of everyone. Shaykh Bin Baaz says about it, “What is prescribed for the believer is to respect his brother if he offers an excuse to him, to accept his apology if possible, and to think positively of him as much as possible, striving to keep hearts free of resentment and aiming to bring about unity and co-operation in doing good. It was narrated from ‘Umar (may Allah be pleased with him) that he said: Do not think badly of any word uttered by your brother when you can find a good interpretation for it.”
  4. Backbiting

“And do not spy or backbite each other. Would one of you like to eat the flesh of his brother when dead? You would detest it. And fear Allah ; indeed, Allah is Accepting of repentance and Merciful.” [Quran 49:12]
Backbiting has become so commonplace today that it is not even seen as something wrong! Yet Allah gives such a gruesome example of how awful it really is. It is like eating the flesh of one’s dead brother. There is a hadith which says that backbiting someone is giving them a share of our good deeds and taking a share of their sins! Who would want to do something so nasty? Other hadith rank backbiting as one of the top 7 sins!
  5. Feeling as if we are doing Islam a service

“They consider it a favor to you that they have accepted Islam. Say, “Do not consider your Islam a favor to me. Rather, Allah has conferred favor upon you that He has guided you to the faith, if you should be truthful.” [Quran 49:17]
At times we feel as if we are doing Islam a service by being Muslim. Almost as if Islam would be worse off if we did not exist. This is a very terrible trait. Islam is a gift of Allah to us, and He is free of any need. We need Islam, we need Allah, we need His Mercy. His faith will suffice without us, and His faith will shine without us
