Save Yourself

Unknown
DAILY  DIGEST ....Shabban 1437AH.... May, 2016).
Q(6 verse 66)
O you who believe! save yourselves and your families from a fire whose fuel is men and stones; over it are angels stern and strong, they do not disobey Allah in what He commands them, and do as they are commanded.
Usamah bin Zaid (May Allah be pleased with
him) reported: The Prophet (PBUH) said, "I stood
at the gate of Jannah, and (I saw) that the
majority of those who entered it are the poor,
and the wealthy were kept confined. The inmates
of the Fire had been ordered to (enter) the Fire
(Hell), and I stood at the gate of Hell and saw
that the majority of its inmates are women". [Al-
Bukhari and Muslim].
Money is the root to all problems. The more money we have, the more things we tend to account for in the hereafter. So, also, we r in a decayed world where females av become unavoidable temptation for men. All these and many more r very observable even in our immediate environment. Let's pray to Allah in assisting us train our children especially the female ones. May Allah safeguard us from the torment of hell... Ameen

What you need to know about Salah

Unknown

1. Salah is an act of worship: It is not a custom. It is not a ritual. It is very special. It has no equal. It has no alternative. There are no excuses, even when you are ill, on a journey or even in a war.

2. Salah is the second and most important pillar of Islam.

3. Salah is a practical sign of obedience to the commands of Allah. It is the practical proof of our faith in Allah and Islam.

4. Salah is the only distinction between a Mo’min and a non-Mo’min.

5. Salah reminds you of Allah (SWT), when you get up in the morning, it reminds you three more times when you are busy during the day, and once again before you go to bed.

6. Salah is a direct contact or link between the worshipper and Allah with no earthly intermediaries. It is the Me’raaj of a Mo’min.

7. Salah builds a strong defense against evils which exist around us. It is said in the Holy Qur’an that, surely, Salah keeps you away from indecency and evil. This is why the prayer is described as “remembrance” to Allah (SWT).

8. Salah wipes out our sins: Prophet Muhammad (SAAWS) once asked his companions “Tell me if there was a river at the door step of one of you in which you washed 5 times a day would any of your dirt remain?” When he received the reply that none of it would remain he then said “That is like the 5 times Salah, with which Allah (SWT) wipes out sin.

10. Salah was the last will of the Prophet (SAAWS). As his soul departed he said with his last breaths: As-Salah, As-Salah.

11. Salah is the first thing that a person is judged by on the Day of Judgement. If it was good, the rest of all his/her deeds will be good. But if it was poor, the rest of all his/her deeds will be poor.

Actions During Prayer

Unknown

Today's Beautiful Hadith is about Actions during Praying

‘Narrated Abu Huraira: The Prophet (ﷺ) said, "The saying 'Sub Han Allah' is for men and clapping is for women." (If something happens in the prayer, the men can invite the attention of the Imam by saying "Sub Han Allah". And women, by clapping their hands) (Bukhari Vol. 2, Book 22, Hadith 295)

Dua Before Sleeping

Unknown

Hudhaifah (May Allah be pleased with him) reported: Whenever the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) intended to go to sleep, he would place his right hand under his (right) cheek and supplicate: "Allahumma qini 'adhabaka yauma tab'athu 'ibadaka (O Allah! Guard me against Your punishment on the Day when You will resurrect Your slaves).

[At-Tirmidhi].In a narration in Abu Dawud, Hafsah (May Allah be pleased with her) said: Before going to sleep the Messenger of Allah (Sallallahu 'alaihi wa sallam) would recite this Du'a three times.

Lets occupy ourselves with good things

Unknown

Your soul; if you don't occupy it with good things, it will occupy you with bad things".

This is a logical social fact. When non Muslim countries prevent true independent scholars & preachers upon the sunnah from addressing the Muslims, this causes a vacuum.

This vacuum is then filled with deviants such as Shia or Sufis. However, this doesn't fill the emptiness in youth's souls.

This is why we have radicals and fanatics. They fill the vacuum with hot air which results in more darkness and deviancy. Only the sunnah can quench the thirst of truth seekers who had lost their way in the deserts of terrorism.

Fill this vacuum up with true and pure sunnah before it swallows everything that was good in your lives and communities.

Ummus, its not zuhud for you to be using infinix hot note abi hot textbook, yet your socks is torn, so wide like the shape of the map of africa.  Yet you subscribe for BIS everymonth.
.
Abus, its not zuhud for you not to brush your teeth before going for fajr salah, use siwak or brush your teeth, your smelly mouth will affect the khushoo of other people during the salah, even the angels will run away from you, they don't like awful smell too.
Ukhti,
It is not zuhud for you to be wearing wrapper like grandma all over the house when your cupboard is filled with jeans, g-strings, bum-shots, gowns and native attires. Look pretty for your husband if you don't want him to propose to the house maid.
.
Akhi, don't wear perfumes only when you are going to propose to a woman, wear it everyday, women trip for it.
Ummus, don't brush in the morning alone, brush before sleeping too, incase your husband may ask you a question at midnight, so you won't have to be stylishly shifting back before you answer him, he may want to kiss you, don't lie to him that you ate bene seed.
.
Akhi,
Its not shyness for you to refuse to look at a woman you have proposed to, look at her well, so dat you won't come and tell us that she is a niqabite and you didn't know that she had beards and moustache.
.
Ukhti, before you say "yes" to his proposal, look at him too, his tushing appearance matters too, don't lower your gaze and later complain that you didn't know that 5 of his teeths are missing.
.
NB: look good always and remember that cleanliness is half of eeman.

Surah Hud, Verse 2-3-4

Unknown

Surah Hud, Verse 2:
أَلَّا تَعْبُدُوا إِلَّا اللَّهَ إِنَّنِي لَكُم مِّنْهُ نَذِيرٌ وَبَشِيرٌ

(Saying) worship none but Allah. Verily, I (Muhammad SAW) am unto you from Him a warner and a bringer of glad tidings.
(English - Mohsin Khan)

Surah Hud, Verse 3:

And (commanding you): "Seek the forgiveness of your Lord, and turn to Him in repentance, that He may grant you good enjoyment, for a term appointed, and bestow His abounding Grace to every owner of grace (i.e. the one who helps and serves needy and deserving, physically and with his wealth, and even with good words). But if you turn away, then I fear for you the torment of a Great Day (i.e. the Day of Resurrection).

Verse 4:
إِلَى اللَّهِ مَرْجِعُكُمْ وَهُوَ عَلَىٰ كُلِّ شَيْءٍ قَدِيرٌ

To Allah is your return, and He is Able to do all things."

Benefits Of Going To The Masjid

Unknown

Benefits of Going to the Masjid

Abu Hurairah (radi Allahu anhu) reported that the Messenger of Allah (sal Allahu alaihi wa sallam) said: “He who purifies himself (performs Wudhu) in his house and then walks to one of the houses of Allah (Masjid) for performing an obligatory Salat, one step of his will wipe out his sins and another step will elevate his rank (in Jannah).” [Sahih Muslim]

This hadith tells us the merit of offering Salat in the Masjid. Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) encourages us to go to the Masjid for Fardh prayers by offering us alternatively the wiping out of minor sins and the elevation of one’s rank in Jannah by one degree with each step that one takes towards the Masjid.

This hadith also indicates the superiority of cleansing and readying oneself in one’s house rather than in the Masjid. One should try to go to the Masjid in one’s best condition. This is practical advice to help prevent unnecessary crowding and mess in the Masjid’s bathrooms and Wudhu areas. Since the Masjid is one of the houses of Allah we should try to keep our presence in it as pleasant as possible.

There is a story of a man who would wake up every morning for Fajr, do Wudhu, then leave to pray with the Jamaat (congregation) in the Masjid. One day as he was on his way to the Masjid he tripped and fell. As his clothes had gotten dirty and wet he went back home to change. He got ready again and set out for the Masjid once more. As it was dark, on the way to the Masjid he tripped again in the same spot and his clothes got soiled yet again. So he went back home, cleaned himself up, changed, and set out for the Masjid a third time.

On this trip to the Masjid he found a man waiting for him with a lantern in the place that he would keep tripping. This man led him with his lantern safely to the Masjid. As he was turning back to leave, the man who would keep tripping thanked him but asked him why he wouldn’t enter the Masjid and pray in Jamaat with them.

Story----------)
The man with the lantern replied that he was actually Shaitaan. It was he who would keep tripping the man up on his way to the Masjid. The first time that the man returned home, changed and set out for the Masjid again Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) forgave the man all his sins. The second time that the man changed and set out for the Masjid, Allah forgave all the sins of each member of his household. Seeing this Shaitaan got afraid that should the man trip again Allah (subhana wa ta’ala) might forgive the sins of all the people in the village next, so instead of tripping him Shaitaan made sure that the man got to the Masjid safely!

Q7:33

Unknown

7:33 Al-A'raaf

Say (O Muhammad SAW): "(But) the things that my Lord has indeed forbidden are Al-Fawahish (great evil sins, every kind of unlawful sexual intercourse, etc.) whether committed openly or secretly, sins (of all kinds), unrighteous oppression, joining partners (in worship) with Allah for which He has given no authority, and saying things about Allah of which you have no knowledge."
