I Am A Mother

Unknown

The Officer At The Driving License Counter Asked The Lady, "What is Your Occupation ?" The Woman Seeking Renewal Of Her License Seemed To Be Puzzled.

So The Officer Said, "Ma'am, Are You Employed....Have Your Own Business Or...."

The Woman Replied, "Oh, Yes !! I Have A Full Time Occupation. I Am A Mother"

Officer : "We Don't Have 'Mother' As An Option For Occupation. I Will Write It Down As 'Housewife'. That Takes Care Of All Questions."

This Had Happened Long Ago, And Was Forgotten.

Years Later When I Went To Get My License, The Public Relations Officer Was A Somewhat Pompous Woman.

"Your Occupation ?" She Asked in A Rather Authoritative Tone.

I Just Had An inspiration And Replied, "I Am A Researcher in The Field Of Child Development, Nutrition And Inter-Personal Relationships."

The Lady Officer Stared At Me in Amazement.

I Calmly Repeated My Statement, And She Wrote it Down Verbatim.

Then, Unable To Conceal Her Curiosity, She Politely Asked, "What Exactly Do You Do in Your Profession, Ma'am ?"

I Was Feeling Good About Having Described My Occupation So Calmly And Confidently. So I Replied, " My Research Projects Have Been Going On For A Number Of Years (Mothers Never Retire !!). My Research is Conducted in The Laboratory As Well As in The Field. I Have Two Bosses. (One is God and the other is my entire family). Have Received Two Honours in This Field (A son and a daughter). My Topic is Considered To Be The Most Difficult Part Of Sociology (All Moms will Agree!!). I Have To Work More Than 14 Hours Every Day. Sometimes Even 24 Hours  b Not Enough And The Challenges Are Tougher Than Many Other Professions. My Compensation is in Terms Of Mental Satisfaction Rather Than Money."

I Could See That The Officer Was Thoroughly impressed. After Completing The Licensing Formalities, She Came To The Door To See Me Off.

This New Viewpoint About My Occupation Made Me Feel Much Better On My Way Back Home.

I Was Welcomed By My 5 Year Old Research Assistant At The Door. My New Project(My 6 Month old Baby) Was Energetically Practicing Her 'Music'.
I Had Earned A Small Victory Over The Governmental Red Tape Today. I Was No Longer 'Merely A Mother'. Instead I Was Now A Highly Placed Functionary in A Service Vital For Mankind - Motherhood !!

'Mother' - Isn't it A Great Title. Fit To Be Added To The Nameplate On The Door !!

By This Standard, Grandmothers Deserve To Be Called Senior Research Officers, And Great Grandmothers Qualify As 'Research Directors'. Aunts And Other Ladies Of That Age Group Can Be Called 'Research Facilitators'.

Our Imagination

Unknown

Just Close Your Eyes and Imagine...

You have just one more day to live;

One more day to show اللّـه ,
Whether to you Jannah He should give?

To say goodbye to your family,
And all your closest friends;
To ask for forgiveness,
And try to make amends;

Just close your eyes and imagine,
Did you miss a prayer or two?
Did you please اللّـه , and do the things,
He asks every Muslim to do?

Just close your eyes and imagine,
Tomorrow you will be gone;
No more second chances,
To smell the mist of dawn;

Just close your eyes and imagine,
The angels are going to come,
To take your soul and ask,
In your life "what have you done"?

Just close your eyes and imagine,
The words you want to say;
But may not come out that way,
For all your deeds you'll pay;
You want to speak out, to cry out,
I BELIEVE........
But, silence beckons you,
No more can you deceive;

Just close your eyes and imagine,
Finally,
Your silence breaks away;
You tell the angels you believe in اللّـه,
And for Him, you did pray;
You say as tears are pouring down your face

'Please, اللّـه , forgive me,
For the sins that I committed,
Have mercy is my plea!'

Just close your eyes and imagine,
That the smell of musk surrounds you,
From your head down to your feet;
You realize اللّـه  forgave you,
Hell fire you did defeat;

But we all know as Muslims,
When it's time for you to die;
You'll not be given a second chance,
To say a last goodbye;

So live each day as If it's your last,

And never forget to pray;

So when the angels come to ask,

You'll know the right words to say.

إن شـآء اللّـه

Kahf

Unknown

Its been a weekly routine for us to recite Surah Kahf every friday right? and we do it in most of the Fridays.

Now, have you ever wondered why Prophet Muhammad (pbuh) asked us to recite Surah Kahf every Friday??

Or is there any prefence for this surah over the rest 113 surahs???or whats the benefit of reciting this weekly??

Lets check it out-

First of all,in this surah Allah says to us 4 different INTERESTING stories!

Lets explore each along the lessons we get from each of them....

🔘1."The people of the cave"

It’s the story of young men who lived in a disbelieving town, so they decided to migrate for the sake of Allah and run away. Allah rewards them with mercy in the cave and protection from the sun.
The lesson of this story is the 'Trial of Faith'❗

🔘2. "The owner of two gardens"

A story of a man whom Allah blessed with two beautiful gardens, but the man forgot to thank the one who blessed him with everything and he even dared to doubt Allah regarding the afterlife. So his garden was destroyed – he regretted, but was too late and his regret did not benefit him.

Lesson of this story:
'Trial of wealth'❗

🔘3. "Musa(as) and Khidr (as)"

When Musa (as)was asked “who’s the most knowledgeable of the people of Earth?” Musa (as) said that it was him as he assumed he was the only prophet on Earth at the time. But Allah revealed to him that there’s someone who knows more than him about certain things. Musa (as)traveled looking for him learned how divine wisdom can sometimes be hidden in matters which we perceive as bad.

And Lesson of this story:
'Trial of knowledge'❗

And now to the FINAL one,its somewhat to GLOBAL,

🔘4. "Dhul-Qarnayn"

Allah mentions the story of a great king who was given knowledge and power travelling the world helping people and spreading all that’s good. He was able to overcome the problem of Yajooj-Majooj by building a massive dam with the help of people whom he could not even understand.

Lesson of this story:
'Trial of power'❗

ALLAH says to us 4 kind of stories relating 4 kind of trials that WE ALL pass by in our day to day lives!

Now Lets have a look through HADITHS too what it says about this surah....

🔖In many hadith, the messenger of Allah (pbuh) mentions that the one who reads and memorises verses of Surah Al Kahf will be protected from the trials of the Dajjal!

❔NOW,why this surah??

❔Whats the relation with SURAH KAHF and DAJJAL???
The Answer is simple...

Dajjal will appear before the day of judgement with 4 trials:

🔘A) He will ask people to worship him and not Allah: Trial of faith
🔘B) He will be given powers to start/stop rain and tempt people with his wealth: Trial of with his wealth
🔘C) He will trial people with the “knowledge” and news he gives them: Trial of knowledge.
D) He will control huge parts 🔘of the Earth: Trial of power

NOW JUST TAKE A  MOMENT AND SAY 'SUBHANALLAH'!!!!!

Now,dont u feel it irony when Allah just ends up this surah just speaking about the trials and all...dont u want a SOLUTION for those trials???fcoz we need,and ALLAH knows our need!!!so He tells us the solution too before ending up this surah...let me just point out them with their AYAH NUMBERS so that you can look for those meanings of AYAHS....

❤1.Good companionship
(In 28th ayah)
❤2. Knowing the truth of this world
(In 45th ayah)
❤3. Humility
(In 69th ayah)
❤4. Sincerity
(In 110th ayah)
❤5. Calling to Allah
(In 27th ayah)
❤6. Remembering the Hereafter
(In 47-49th ayahs)

“Truly in the heart there is a void
   that cannot be removed except
with the company of Allah.
   And in it there is a sadness that cannot be removed except with
   the happiness of knowing Allah &  being true to Him.
   And in it there is an emptiness that cannot be filled except with love
   for Him & by turning to Him
& always remembering Him.
   And if a person were given all of the world & what is in it, it would not fill this emptiness.”
--Ibnul Qayyim

If the one & only You (oh my Allah) is not mine
Then nothing is mine
But if You are mine then everything is mine
The sky is mine, the earth is mine
    Make me Yours (oh my Allah)
    & You become mine.
Ameen.

∕̴Ɩ reminder to  read lots of Durood on this noble day, the shortest durood that the sahaabah used to read was صَلَّى اللَّهُ عَلَيْهِ وَسَلَّمَ  sallallaahu alayhi wasallam.

Sitting, standing, cooking, walking, driving, working, relaxing... sallallaahu alayhi wasallam all the time.

We owe everything to Sayyidina Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam . ɪ̇Ƒ Rasulullah sallallaahu alayhi wasallam wasn't created, then nothing would have been created.

The best way we can try to give back is by  implementing his (sallallaahu alayhi wasallam) sunnah.  How many salawat do u intend to send today? How many sunnah do u intend to implement ƒrσм  today?

Rasulullah Sallallaahu alayhi Wasallam said (to the effect):
   “He who reads a single Durood
    upon me, Almighty Allah blesses
    him ten times, ten of his sins are
    forgiven, and he is increased ten
    times in rank.”
